Very little is known about Mesle or their nation. What is known about Mesle is that it has elements and materials and riches that are not known to the people of Laerdt’nah, and so trade is a steady source of income within Endref and the Port of Lauthor. Mesle is particularly well known for a few key resources including obsidian, and thus these resources often fetch very high prices. It is also said that there are magical storms that ravage Mesle constantly, and that the people who travel to Endref by ship to trade are often very hardy, scaled, and have the ability to breathe fire when provoked.

The People of Mesle

Mesle is home to people with thick, muscly physiques marked by strange outgrowths and patchy hair that are said to come from the magic storms. Their skin often varies from bluish-purple to amber, though the largest Mesle sailors that can be seen in Endref are usually dark green in colour. No one has ever been to Mesle and returned the same, so little is known about their culture or hospitality. Even the language they speak is unknown to sailors in Endref, largely because no one can make quite the same sounds as the Mesle do. Mesle, on the whole, is said to be planning an attack on Endref, but that's based on paranoid speculation from the merchants and idle rumour from the sailors.
