Leaait Suabuam (Leaait)
The people of Leaait, few as they are, keep to their lands and only once in the past 150 years has an official envoy of any kind left Leaait to speak to other rulers. The folk of Leaait are said to have tough, scaly skin, though there are also tales of at least one city filled with people who are blessed (or cursed) by the Teyvank.
The People of Leaait
Leaait is naturally an unwelcoming place with a hot air and an acrid smell that persuades most travellers to look elsewhere. It's said that if a traveller makes it to a Leaait town, they will be greeted with hospitality, but if they ask for help along the journey, they will be shunned. Citizens of Leaait often have black or dark brown skin, but deep red colours are also possible.
Indigenous Peoples
The Teyvank are as close to myth as histories go, but they appear in what little history remains of nearly all the original people in Laerdt'nah. What has been cobbled together seems to speak of the Teyvank as magical beings who may have come before the land itself, or perhaps created the land itself. Many oral histories among the Zagash and the Blaenor use members of the Teyvank as the parental figures in stories, and some of the Teyvank named in those stories have become deities at the centre of "modern" religious groups.
