Mages
Mages are excepitional human-like creatures with natural habilities to rewrite reality. They are not all powerful and the use of magic take a heavy toll on their minds and bodies. They look like humans but have pointy fluffy ears and bigger eyes, their skin is usually a little clearer too and their teeth are sharp to rip thought flash. Once venerated as gods, they ruled as commanders in small kingdoms. It's rare to find a mage, but they can reproduce with humans to bring to life another mage, who is born randomly human or mage, the cases where the child are born human bringing great disapoitment to the mage parent. Magic is complicated and consist in learning and casting spells and making rituals, however there are really powerful beings that are able to control meterial objects only with the power of their minds, that's how it is believed magic started to appear in the world. Since they were persecuted by the Poecy in what they call The Dark Times, they opted to hide and form a hidden comunity. Now they live in the shadows of the human cities to never be found again.
Basic Information
Anatomy
They look like humans, but live more and are less sucetible to illness. The principal difference amongst them and the humans are the pointy feline-like ears covered with a thin layer of fur.

They reproduce with mages and humans, the latter case generating either species with a random chance.

They mature as humans, but get older slowly after past their twenties.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They can live long periods without food and prefer meat to vegetables. They are used to eat raw meat and have long teeths to rip throught flesh.

Average Intelligence
Very intelligent beings, comparable to the most intelligent humans. However there are mages who are known as stupid beings.

They have more accurate noses and ears ad are abble to listen better than humans, but are a little less sensible in their eyes.

They have a human name and a proper name, that is tha mage name. In a battle of mages they always tell their proper names.

Society of Mages: a society that monitors and punishes all the mages that risks exposing them.
Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Before killing someone they always tell their proper name. If their secret is revealed to a human the responsible must kill this human.

Telling about their world to a human is considered taboo punishable with death.

Little is known about their origins, but their reproductibility is complicated and they are sometimes very infertile.
