Second Cornflower Judiciary

The Second Cornflower Judiciary was a Constitutional Judicial Monarchy founded in 1177 A.S. after the Treaty of Catarí and was reestablished as a member of the newly-formed United Burrows. Liken to the original First Cornflower Judiciary, the Second Cornflower Judiciary was a bureaucratic monarchy that shared some power with the judiciary and nobility. The government was short-lived however, and broke away from the United Burrows quickly due to controversial disputes over autonomy of trade, more specifically, Cornflower's merchant class being able to independently do trade with the Central Kingdoms and Western Burrows freely without intrusive tarriffs or restrictive sanctions.

Disbandment

After less than a year as an independent governing body, several judicial committee votes were held to reorganize the government into a new Merchant Republic with some elements of the judiciary left in tact. The newly reorganized government also saw fit to officially cut ties with House Drowick, demoting them back down to a regular noble house.
