Lakivir

Lakivir is one of the oldest known ethnic origins of the Dagavirm, making up a whopping 90% of known daga genetic history. The lakiviri cultural and ethnic group can be found in the large-spanning valleys east of the Feldek Mountain Range in what is colloquially known as the Northern Burrows.
The most prominent genetic features of lakiviri dagavirm is their slightly larger ears, longer whiskers and dark-brown fur, while the lakivir skeletal structure is proficiently duller than that of other dagavirm ethnic groups; with broader hips, bigger arms, stubbier tails, and longer snouts. These features are believed to be the result of evolutionary determinism rather than sexual selective traits, as a majority of lakivir cultural life is centered around underground burrows where a shorter tail, sturdier posture, stronger arms for digging and more complex frontal-sensory organs like ears, whiskers and snouts would be more beneficial.
Lakivir dietary habits are strongly more centered on a herb-piscivorous diet, preferring the consumption of agriculturally-produced crops and fish. Though it varies from burrow to burrow, a large handful of Lakivir have been known to inherit the genetic trait of psilocybin-tolerance, or the ability to regularly consume mushrooms and similar fungi residing in the Lakiviri Northern Burrow mountains.
