Erathis (Air-AH-thiss)
Erathis is the god of law and justice, and has a presence in nearly every kingdom of the world, her visage adorning paintings of kings and queens, the divine form of justice and civic inspiration. In most tellings she is the daughter of Ioun, created by the goddess of wisdom to be a servant of Bane, but unlike her brother Tyr, she refused to side with him upon his tyrannical decline.
Erathis is almost universally female, the feminine counter to the god of war, Tyr. She appears as a tall human woman with a regal bearing. Though she can appear in armor, she is most commonly seen as a noblewoman in finery, her armor ornamental rather than practical. In this way, she represents the "commander" archetype rather than the soldier that Tyr represents. She aslo, since the Iconoclasm, wears a blindfold over her eyes. The blindfold is not just an artistic stylization- Erathis was blinded during a battle with the Heretic Archantael, and in any form she appears in her eyes are damaged by Abyssal power manifesting as rainbow-tinted cracks around her eyes.
