What does the Venator’s Call ask from its members?

  • 2,000gp minimum contribution from each party of 4 [500gp per each additional party member]
  • The Venator’s Call is a partner in Loot, Pay and Rewards until 2x party minimum is met. For jobs and quests that the Venator’s Call provides directly, the split may vary case by case. For all other jobs and quests, the Venator’s Call is an equal partner in Loot, Pay and Rewards. After the party meets 2x the minimum contribution, only jobs or quests managed by the Call are subject to Loot, Pay and Reward split (e.g., A party of 5 will be asked to provide 1/6th of all Loot, Rewards and Pay from jobs or quests until they fulfil 5,000gp in pay to the Venator’s Call. After 5,000gp has been paid to the Venator’s Call, for the rest of the calendar year, that party will only need to split Loot, Rewards and Pay from jobs or quests provided directly by the Venator’s Call).
  • Members must accept priority jobs or quests from the Venator’s Call as needed, but never to exceed twenty mandated jobs per year.
 

What is the code of conduct for the Venator’s Call?

  • Respect the Call. Recognize and duly respect fellow Call members, including staff
 

Venator’s Call Headquarters – Features

  • Great Hall – Traditional meeting place and eating place. Huge hall (about 70’x40’) with wood beams built on top of stone bases. The north wall features an enormous stone hearth and two doors that lead to the training grounds. The east and west walls feature staircases that lead to the 2nd floor balcony that overlooks the Hall and lead off to the dorms. There are massive tables and benches to accommodate about 75 people.
  • Baths – There are 4 bronze tubs for bathing available in the baths on the west side of the first floor. Heavy dark red drapes hang between each tub for privacy, but are more often than not tied back. The tubs are connected to an enormous tank of hot water heated in the basement.
  • Kitchen – To the west of the Great Hall is a large kitchen and pantry with access to the Basement Level.
  • Library – The southeast corner of the building is home to the Venator’s Call library. This space is full of books, scrolls, journals and more. There are shelves and tables full of knowledge referring to various creatures, beasts, and other encounters had by various adventurers throughout the Call’s existence, and then some. The room is lit 24/7 by floating orbs that cast bright light to every corner of the room. The library is accessible from the Great Hall.
  • The Training Grounds – Hard, packed sand yard with targets, mannequin dummies for sparring practice. Open space for training with simple, martial, ranged weapons or spellcasting.
