Mirror of Keldyrion

A small unremarkable looking mirror, simple round design in a silvered frame it is easily held within the palm of the hand. Whilst the metal frame may be tarnished by years of lack of use the mirrored surface is itself bright and clear.

Basic function

• If asked the mirror will show the viewer any location, item, person etc.
• It will then remain locked on that for an extended period
• It is likely the mirror can only do this a certain number of times, but will recover the ability over a period
• The questioner must know the thing they wish to see exists, they cannot ask it to show a rumoured location

Advanced function

• If an item in a viewed location can be grasped in one hand it is possible to reach into the mirror and take the item, bringing it to the users location
• It is assumed this may cause the mirror to drain its power more quickly
• The item to be recovered does not have to be the item that was specified to view.  e.g. if you ask to see a room in Stonehaven you could in theory take anything in that view that can be grasped in one hand
