Engraved Brass Coin II
What appears to be a a simple brass coin the faces are engraved or perhaps cast
- One face shows two lines in parallel, they do not appear to be letters of any kind just two vertical strokes that have been engraved into the surface
- The could be a representation of the number two but without a frame of reference this is impossible to tell
- This face also has four small arrows pointing out from the centre to the edge of the disc, they are arranged as if the cardinal points of a compass (N,S,E,W)
- The other side is a geometric pattern of small square columns of varying heights in an 8x8 grid. It appears to have been cast as if in some sort of mould
- The columns protrude from the surface of the disc, the highest of which is about 1cm
- Each column is about 3mm square
- There is no discernible pattern that you can tell
