A legendary war on Preydor, where a ruthless and ambitious warlord conquered most of the continent and very nearly brought down the old Aldacairn Empire. This was was said to have been unprovoked, but historians believe it was a biproduct of the Ley Lines being severed, seeing as record of the war's existence and it's influence that lingers on Preydor is one of the few things remaining from the Third Era.

History remembers the Great Warlord of Preydor, their true name stricken from the anneals for the sake of the fractured army and countries left behind by their actions. They amassed a great host of warriors together and began to carve out an empire of their own in the lands now known as Rohadar. all flocked to them and their ruthless generals. Much of the history of the war is shrouded in differing accounts, however, it is well documented and known that the Warlord conquered most of Preydor, knocking on the doors of the Elven Imperium to the end of their campaign, but also had allies across the sea in Solohapt, the Black Wet, and even in the Storm Isles.   For a long time, the Warlord was unstoppable, the Elven Imperium losing much of it's eastern territory from the constant battles. It wasn't until ten legendary heroes rose up together in order to bring him down. At the cost of there own lives, the Warlord and his generals were brought down, leaving behind an empire that would crumble long before the end of the age and a wary stain left on the untamed lands of Rohador.
