B
B is a human male living on the fringes of society within the Twilight Forest. For as long as he can remember B was raised by large furry goblinoids known as bugbears in the forests surrounding Loggenspire. Amongst the bugbears, B grew up learning how to fight, hunt, speak goblin as well as a little common, and most importantly how to thrive in the wilderness.
As a teenager his clan had a territorial disagreement with a rival clan, as the clan’s marksman B took out one of the opposing clan's strongest warriors without even breaking a sweat. As a trophy, B claimed his opponents hide, tanned it with the help of the tribe's elders, and fashioned it into the cloak that he still wears to this day. It is a reminder to opposing clans not to mess with him or his clan. Furthermore, B’s mind, it is a symbol that he is more of a bugbear/goblinoid than he is a human, despite frequent reminders from outsiders as well as a few of his clan members.
B has a strong distaste for humanoids especially the Humans of Loggenspire, and the Elves living within the Forest of Dreams primarily due to their hostile and condescending disposition towards goblinoids. His clan has done a good job, in keeping their distance, but during times of trade when interactions between the different races are inevitable, those feelings tend to resurface. Another reason for B’s disdain towards those civilization is their perceived lack of freedom, living confined behind large walls, and being tethered to their homes, and jobs, and are subject to rule from other humans and elves.
One day, while out on a hunt, B happened upon an assassin who had witnessed B’s proficiency with the crossbow, a weapon that B had procured during a trade with the elves. Impressed, the assassin had suggested that if he decided to look for employment to seek out an organization called The Reach which B considered. Ultimately, he relented and joined in an effort to furnish his clan with better weapons and armor to keep up with the “stuck-up” humanoid races, and rival clans, B reluctantly decided to head into the City of Loggenspire and put his skills to use by joining the assassins guild thanks to the recommendation from the assassin he encountered.

-tends to work in the Tri Spire district specifically in the Nexus Isle
B invesigated the Castasis compound:
-The compound is almost fully a pyramid made of glass, surrounded by 10 foot walls
-There is only one entrance with 2 guard towers on each side. Each guard tower has 2 guards (4 total)
-At about 8 -8:30 PM on the road leading to the compound the cart returns. It was protected by 2 soldiers with medium armor and spears and a big dude wearing black armor with a greatsword, he seemed to have good perception since he looked in my general direction. Once it got to the compound we heard the driver says "From the darkest night comes the brightest light" which was the passcode to open the gate.
-The gate was only open for about 30 seconds after the cart and protection detail cleared the gate
-About an hour after the cart arrived I see a young man in fine robes that goes out onto the balcony and sits watching the sky for 15 minutes, while drinking out of a tea cup.
-It was hard to see any light or anything through the glass windows even with a high perception check
-guards change in 8 hour shifts
-Rev joins me in the night - we feel an ominous presence in the woods, but nothing happens - I know that there are a handful of creatures that leave this presence. It is a either a fey or aberation and I sensed with Primeval Awareness that it is within 1 mile.
-In the morning we see Castasis goes out on his balcony and has a lighter skinned female elf serve his breakfast and just enjoys his time for around 30 minutes.
-30 minutes after his breakfast the carriage leaves again with the same 3 guards.
I bought poison
The rest of the group found out that there was going to be a party at the Castasis compound on Wednesday for a big announcement. A lot of the prominent nobles and council member will be in attendance, but it requires an invitation.
-I found out that there will be a lot of guards (50) hired to guard the road to the compound since there are creatures in the wood. It doesn't sound like the guards (known as Spiremen) will be in the compound since the compound has its own
-There were also college kids that mentioned that their parents were going. They were going to get new clothes for the party. That would be another option
-look into hiring a carriage to get into the party
