Stone of No Return

The Stone of No Return is a stone boomerang created by Yhellel during his tournament. When in someone's possesion or in the middle of being thrown, the boomerang is mythril with spikes of various magical metals, and has a leather strap around the handle. The spikes cover every part of the boomerang except for the handle.
When thrown, the Stone of No Return will act just like a thrown boomerang, and is always gurenteed to come back to it's thrower no matter what, however the time that it stays airborne is completely random. When the boomerang is thrown, roll a d20 and apply the appropriate following effect based on the roll:
1: The boomerang sails into the distance, and returns to the thrower exactly 13 hours from now. If the thrower fails to catch it, they take damage as if they got hit by it.
2: The boomerang hits the thrower's target before flying an unknown distance, it returns 12 hours from now.
3: The boomerang flys away, and doesn't return for 10 hours.
4: The boomerang hits a non-intended target and returns immediately.
5: The boomerang hits a non-inteded target and returns in 1 hour.
6: The boomerang hits the intended target and a non-inteded target, returning immediately.
7: The boomerang hits the intended target and up to two non-inteded targets, returning in 1 minute.
8: The boomerang sails off into the distance, coming back in 3 days.
9: The boomerang flys through a wormhole and comes back in 1 minute, backwards, the thrower rolls at disadvantage to catch it.
10: The boomerang hits a non-inteded target and returns in 30 minutes.
11: The boomerang hits the inteded target and returns in a week.
12: The boomerang hits the inteded target and a non-intended target before sailing away, to be seen again in 3 hours.
13: The boomerang hits something non-living, and bounces back to the thrower, who rolls at disadvantage to catch it.
14: The boomerang hits the inteded target and bounces straight back to the thrower, they roll at disadvantage to catch it.
15: The boomerang hits the inteded target and sails away, coming back after 1 hour.
16: The boomerang hits the intended target and bounces off, flying in the opposite direction, coming back in 10 minutes.
17: The boomerang hits the intended target and up to 1 other enemy before sailing through the air, coming back 1 minute later.
18: The boomerang hits the intended target and up to 1 other enemy before returning immediately.
19: The boomerang hits the intended target and up to 3 other enemies before returning immediately.
20: The boomerang hits the intended target and up to 4 other enemies before returning to the thrower's hand immediately.
When the boomerang returns to the thrower, a dex save (DC 10) must be made. If they are not focused on the boomerang and it didn't return immediately, the DC is raised to 17. If they are sleeping they automatically fail. On a success the boomerang is caught and no damage is taken. On a fail the thrower takes the same damage as if he was hit by the boomerang.
The Stone of No Return's base stats are as follows:
(Roll the d20 and follow chart) to hit -- 3d8+4 slashing damage & 1d8+6 blunt damage
The Stone of No Return's Champion was a human fighter named Keo, who wished for his boomerang to always come back. He died 5 years later, when the Stone hit him a little too hard on the head.
