Sardior's Union (Sar-D-Ore's U-nyn)

While most of the people of the core races (Orcs, Humans, Elves, and Dwarves) like to stay to themselves, Sardior's Union is a metropolis that most people consider to be the capital of Eldra. It was founded after Bahamut and Sardior vanquished Tiamat and her cult, and while Bahamut wanted to form a place where his word was law, Sardior knew that the only place where all peoples would feel equal is a place where everyone's voices are heard. Sardior selected representatives from almost every race to be on a large council and run the city as they saw fit. Every time an official dies, or every 100 years (whichever comes first), a new one is elected to the seat. There is always an Elven representative, as well as Dwarven, Human, Orcish, Halfling, and a Dragonborn. There is also a seventh seat that rotates other races, and that is a purely vote-driven seat. Right now, there is a Goliath, but the last person to hold the seat was a Gnome who was well-loved by the community. The council meets monthly to deliberate on needed rulings for the city, but they can also meet in emergency circumstances, like when to mobilize their militia.
Every race is welcome in the Union, with no exceptions. Some of the more monstrous races, like Kobolds and Goblins, are sequestered to the outskirts of the city but the conditions in which they live aren't considered poverty. They can still be elected to the council, and because of this, all their needs are met. Crime can spike occasionally, but the city guard is normally quick to get on top of anything organized and quell it before it gets out of hand.
Sardior’s Union is a city of peace and prosperity, where people come to be welcomed and where outcasts can come to find their people. There are shops in every district, including alchemists and apothecaries. Sardior's Union is home to the travel network known as TabaxaTaxi, which is a pedicab company known in many big cities that is run by and employes Tabaxi.
