The Rise of Imperator Eldorion

It was the year 537 when the man that would change history would be born into a noble family with some seats in the Senate. His name was Eldorion Julianus, and he was born for greatness. In his early years already he showed a great talent for warfare and diplomacy both as he fought in a war against a rivaling kingdom as a general when he was only 16 years old. He won his state a great victory that day, which only rose his families influence in the Senate further. At the time the popularity of the Senate was on an all time low. Crime had been on the rise and foreign forces has been robbing the Postumi Republic more and more of their formerly conquered lands. It was Eldorion who came to the council and brought before them army reforms that would build the bases for the new and improved Legions, with far more effiecent supply usage and a better hierarchy in the army. Along he also brought laws that were loved by both commoner and nobles. The Senate was growing more and more restless over time as the young Eldorion was growing ever more popular.

So in the year 564 many members of the Senate planned to have him killed. They burned down the Justinios family Villa, killing many of Eldorion's family members, including his wife and his newly born son, mother, father and his younger brother. Due to a struck of luck at the time Eldorion was out with his brother on a nightly stroll which was prompted by a dream. Some claim it was the gods giving Eldorien a vision so he might live.

After this event Eldorien and his brother grew furious with rightous anger. They knew who to blame for this crime. Support was easily rallied as the news spread. The Senate had sug their own grave. The City of Postumis was quickly overrun as their own Legion turned against their leaders and joined with Eldorion, the man who made them who they were. The Senate was dismantled and many of them killed in the Senate's building, the Senatorium. After the chaos Eldorion declared himself ruler of the city and the republic and the people dubbed him Imperator. Everyone cheered, for a time. The Senate was reastablished in the first year of his rule, but it was only an illusion. The true power now lay with him, the Imperator, and he had big ambitions for his new Imperium. Ambitions that would change the world forever.
