Article XV: Religious Law in the Crystalline Expanse

§15.1: The Ice Cults and Elemental Worship  The Crystalline Expanse recognizes the worship of elemental spirits, with a particular reverence for the Ice Gods. The Lioneye Family supports these beliefs and ensures that all festivals, rituals, and ceremonies center around these deities, reinforcing their authority over the land.
§15.2: The Winter Conclave  The Winter Conclave, a council of elemental priests, oversees all matters of faith within the Expanse. They possess the authority to arbitrate disputes, impose penances, and demand sacrifices to the Ice Gods in times of crisis. Any challenge to the Conclave’s decisions is considered an affront to the gods themselves and is punished severely.
§15.3: Seasonal Sacrifices and Offerings  All residents of the Crystalline Expanse are required to make seasonal offerings to the Ice Gods to ensure protection during the harsh winter months. These offerings may include food, furs, or a portion of one's harvest. Failure to comply is believed to invite disaster upon the individual or community and is dealt with accordingly.
§15.4: Outlawed Faiths and Exile  The worship of fire-based deities or any beliefs contrary to the element of ice is strictly forbidden within the Expanse. Practitioners of such faiths are exiled immediately, their belongings confiscated, and their names stricken from all records.
