Article XIII: Religious Law in North Al Nazar

§13.1: The Sanctity of the Elder Pantheon North Al Nazar recognizes the Elder Pantheon as the supreme divine authority. Worship of these deities is not merely encouraged but mandated, and all public ceremonies, contracts, and significant events must include an invocation to the Pantheon. Any deviation from this practice is seen as heretical and may result in fines, public penance, or imprisonment.   §13.2: The High Priests and Ecclesiastical Courts The High Priests, appointed by the Thebrus Family, hold considerable sway over matters of faith and morality. They preside over the Ecclesiastical Courts, which are responsible for adjudicating cases of blasphemy, sacrilege, and religious disputes. These courts possess the authority to impose severe penalties, including excommunication and execution.   §13.3: Holy Taxation and Tithes A tithe of one-tenth of all earnings is required to be paid to the temples of the Pantheon, regardless of one’s station or wealth. Failure to provide this tithe results in immediate seizure of property and assets, to be redistributed to the faith.   §13.4: Tolerance of Other Faiths While North Al Nazar permits the worship of other deities in private, public displays of non-sanctioned faiths are strictly forbidden. Any public gathering, preaching, or distribution of materials related to unapproved religions is met with fines, imprisonment, or exile.
