Uk'otoa's Third Temple
Background of Uk'otoa's Third Temple
Uk'otoa's third temple holds the final seal keeping the deity Uk'otoa from entering the mortal plane. While the other two temples were constructed by known groups driven to work together to imprison Uk'otoa, the third was constructed by an unknown group that consisted of necromancers that built the temple out of powers not their own, not from the mortal plane. It cannot be emphasized enough that whatever exist beyond the entry of this temple is wrong, not from anything such as the fey wilds or ethereal planes. Not even from the deepest layer of hells quarters. Whatever you will encounter is from a plane entirely separate, one uniquely cultivated by the group of necromancers now extinct to the world. Take great care going forward, you may not return. What to Expect. Provided by Frank
"Legend has it that the temple comprises an intricate network of chambers and corridors that constantly shift and teleport, disorienting and confusing anyone brave enough to venture inside. Not only do the rooms morph and alter their layout, but the path leading to the seal at the temple's end changes every half-hour, forcing adventurers to slow their progress and adapt to the new route. Those who dare to enter the temple must heed the warning that precedes it. Should anyone become lost within the temple's walls, they will spend an eternity wandering the halls alongside other lost souls who share their fate, among the One That Sings." "An ominous presence referred to as "One That Sings" lingers in its halls, a dark entity left behind by the group responsible for its creation. Scant details exist about this monstrous being, except for its ghastly appearance. It stands tall and lanky, its crooked bones covered in decaying flesh. Even in a slouched posture, the entity towers over ten feet in height. Its long, thin arms possess incredible strength. Nevertheless, the entity's greatest threat lies not in its physical might but in its ability to warp reality with its voice. Keep low, keep out of sight, and cover your ears."- Frank, Tiefling Wizard
