Maria Farlight
Backstory
Maria Farlight was born into a family of devout followers of Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon. From a young age, she was taught the ways of the faith and trained in the arts of healing and combat. Muriel quickly proved to be a gifted cleric, with a natural talent for channeling the divine power of Bahamut. As a young adult, Maria was recruited by the Platinum Dragon temple, where she began working as a healer and advisor to the priests and paladins of the order. She quickly gained a reputation as a wise and compassionate cleric, with a deep understanding of the teachings of Bahamut and a talent for inspiring those around her.
History Along Side The Party
Maria's peaceful existence was shattered when the temple was overrun by the vampire Priscilla and her undead minions. Maria fought bravely alongside friends of the empire and the soon to be formed GOAT Guild. However, the forces of darkness proved too strong and, in the end, the temple was lost leaving Maria among only a handful of survivors.
Devastated by the loss of her home and her comrades, Maria set out on a quest for vengeance. She devoted herself to tracking down Priscilla and her minions, determined to make them pay for their crimes and restore honour to the memory of her fallen friends.
She continued to work alongside the Elosian Empire as well as the GOAT Guild in fighting back undead abominations and providing medical and spiritual assistance to the many refuges following the fall of Orcholynt. She, during this time, devoted herself to the people around her and rebuilt the church of the Platinum Dragon as head of the chapter.
Maria returned to fight alongside the Eternal Vanguard in the battle to destroy Priscilla in the battle for the capital of the Elosian Empire. She delivered healing and kept back the hordes of undead and in the end stood together with the Vanguard to banish Priscilla forever.
3 Years Later, following the climactic battle, she continued to head the church of the Platinum Dragon, and remains a friend to the heroes of the Elsoian Empire as she returns to a quiet but fulfilling life among the rebuilding nation.
