Attack on the Dragonborn
The Thalmor planned an assassination attempt against Jarl Tolsirion MacLyon the Dragonborn and made an alliance with a Red Dragon and her smaller mate, as well as using the bitterness of the Siddgeir family to aid them. The Welkynar of the east sailed her forces up into the Sea of Ghosts to dock on a beach close to Dawnstar. The Siddgeir's had paperwork, cargo, and their own guards to disguise the forces as a trade caravan. They made legitimate stops which were all part of the plan.
Jarl Tolsirion had no information that an attack was coming. The attack started with the Dragons attacking Falkreath which drew the Dragon Born out. When he commited to the attack, the second dragon attacked. After a few minutes they both flew off towards Haakvild. A Thalmor unit trapped the Dragonborn in town, and he called for the guard of Hakkvild.
Unknown to him there was a second unit of Thalmor attacking the Hall. His huscarls and Jordis the Sword-Maiden fought them off, killing them all, but the Dragon attacked the Hall along with the Welkynar. The Thalmor unit was destroyed due to the efforts of the Huscarls and Archmage's Guard but during the battle the Dragon and Welkynar destroyed the Hall. When Tolsirion reached the Hall, the Welkynar and her apprentice attacked him. They tried to surprise him, but he was too alert. He fought the Welkynar to the death and her Apprentice was captured.
Several Hours later, Lakeview Hearthfire Hall was destroyed. Tolsirion travelled there but the Dragon was on to Heljarken. Tolsirion faced and slayed the Dragon at Heljarken Hearthfire Hall, and Daelistra fought the Dragon at Weyland Hearthfire Hall. Though Both Dragons were slain, both of the halls were destroyed. The Stewards all survived, but the Bards were all slain by Dragon Fire.
The THalmor did not succeed in their assassination attempt. But all of Tolsirions holdings except for his house in Solthseim were Destroyed. To this day nobody has figured out the Siddgeir Betrayal.
Tolsirion in order to protect the People of Winterhold gave up his position as Archmage. He also, in defeat relinquished his crown to Queen Elisif and the Jarls and she appointed Siddgeir to be the new Jarl of Falkreath.
The Conflict
Prelude
The Siddgeir family was approached by the Thalmor to sneak soldiers into Falkreath so that they could eliminate the Dragonborn. The Deal was they would kill Jarl Tolsirion and retreat, leaving the Siddgeirs to take back Falkreath.

The Engagement
THe Dragonborn killed the Red Dragon very quickly that had just destoyred Weyland Hearthfire Hall. Daelistra had a very close call with the Dragon in Fallkreath. The huscarls fight off the Thalmor attacking Hakkvild but the Welkymar and her unit destroy the hold just as Tolsirion returned. Tolsirion fought the Welkynar and her apprentice. The Welkynar of the East was slain and he captured the apprentice.
