Elderhaven

Welcome to Thera   The gods, or whatever created Thera, are gone. The guardians they left behind to fight the corruption are almost all dead. Civilization sits nervously behind the runed walls of the Havens hoping the walls continue to hold.   Beyond the walls of the Havens terrible corrupted creatures stalk the land slowly spreading their blight and terrorizing any that are brave or stupid enough to venture beyond the walls. Many try to venture beyond the walls. They each have their own reason, some are trying to recover anything from the millenia's of lost knowledge lying beyond the walls, some are trying to maintain the Haven's ability to exchange goods, others are just trying to excape the overcrowding of their Haven.   Within the walls of the Havens life goes on, as best it can. Each Haven faces its' own challenges. Most people are happy to live their life within the walls of their Haven and maybe move on to a Soul Frame when their body gives out. None would call the constant tension of seeing the Corruption beyond the walls idyllic, but everyone knows it could be worse.
