The Giant War
Disaster / DestructionThe Goliaths and Giants of Icewind Dale attacked the people of Ten Towns following orders of Giants who said they escaped from the Underdark, but were really followers of Asmodeus quenching the plans of the rebellious Levistus.

Migration of the Underdark People
Population Migration / TravelDuergar, Drow, Slaad, and Myconid people start settling in Icewind Dale, offering to help the rebuild after the Giant War and attack of the Chardalyn Dragon. Because of the Underdark peoples generosity, they are accepted into the community of Icewind Dale.
