The Untold Stories of the Three Banner War
The day the Serpent was visible in the night sky, so bright that it almost dominated the entire star scape was one to remember.
Emperor
Many people remember what they were doing, for the Serpent is a Herald of Woe, and enough had happened that people quickly became superstitious.
Over the next two years everything went on as normal, barring more reports of Daedric sightings and the Fighters Guild taking the fight to those that did make their way to Nirn.
However this did not last and so began the Three Banners War, between the First Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant and the Ebonheart Pact, Sparking one of the most brutal and bloody conflicts that Tamriel had ever seen.
The war has been progressing slowly for the past three years, it is now the 585th Year of the 2nd Era and the Three Banner War has seen all sides suffer losses and take victories.
Kenarthi's Roost was successfully defended from the Maormer by the Aldemeri Dominion, further securing the southern front and any attacks from sea with their permanent presence watching over the area.
Meanwhile the Isle of Bleakrock, one of the islands where Nords made their home was sacked by the Daggerfall Covenant removing the Ebonheart Pacts early warning system for invading fleets and also set the staging ground for the Daggerfall Covenant to begin their assault on Stonefalls and Bal Foyen in Morrowind.
The main fighting of the War rages on in Cyrodill for the seat of power in the Ivory Tower with each faction holding their staging grounds and launching skirmishes within and without in an attempt to weaken their enemies.
This has seen a rise in both Mercenary and Bandit activity as many people are taking advantage of the chaos for their own gain and a quick drake... and this is where our story begins.
You are mercenaries and/or adventurers or members of one of the guilds who have been selling your service to which ever band required your services (based on your personal morals and standings, of course.) in the Daggerfall/Highrock province.
You are on your way to the Pariah Abbey with a few other guards and a batch of supplies, an easy run with promise of more after the completion of this delivery.
A simple mission to guard a Caravan taking supplies to the Abbey, should be easy right?
