Vigilant Eyes

A team of highly trained gnome guards, known as the Vigilant Eyes, are constantly patrolling the Lorekeeper archives, ensuring their safety and security.

Culture

They undergo rigorous training in stealth and combat techniques, honing their agility and reflexes to remain undetected by would-be intruders.  Each member of the Vigilant Eyes is sworn to uphold the Oath of the Archivist, a code of honor that demands unwavering loyalty and discretion in protecting the archives.  The guards maintain a network of secret tunnels and hidden passageways within and around the Archives, allowing them to quickly respond to threats and navigate the complex underground structure.  They are trained in various magical disciplines, such as illusion and mind magic, to deceive and disorient enemies who might try to force their way past the Vigilant Eyes.  The guards have access to a central control room, where they monitor the Archives' security systems and coordinate their efforts with other gnome clans in case of an emergency.  Each member of the Vigilant Eyes is identified by a unique symbol, usually a small badge or tattoo, which signifies their rank and experience within the unit.  The Vigilant Eyes guards are also responsible for maintaining the magical wards and enchantments that protect the Archives, ensuring that their defenses remain strong and impenetrable.  They maintain a strict protocol for dealing with intruders, ranging from non-lethal methods such as stunning spells and net traps to more severe measures if necessary.  The Lorekeepers Gnome Clan trusts the Vigilant Eyes with the protection of their most precious treasures, and as such, the guards are held in high esteem and given great respect within the community.
