The Discarded Race

The Faerie's refer to themselves as the discard race, although they rarely deal with outsiders close enough for real details to be gathered to get specifics of this, it is currently widely believed that they were the first iteration of what later produced the elves however both races remain steadfastly silent on the matter so even this little is pure speculation.

However even without knowing what happened it is clear the gods were involved from their clear and utter hatred for them, in-fact the easiest way to open communication with them is to offer them a way to spite the gods, be warned though, should they find your ideas lacking you will not live to repeat such a mistake.
