Thaltear the Omniscient
Thaltear's life has been highly documented due to her closeness with both elements of her Goddess Thama.
Born to an unknown tribe in the south of Dincaeli Shaltear grew up finding peace with the teachings of Thama and joined a traveling dancer to preach the word of her goddess across the land. For many years she practiced her craft, steadily growing in reputation both within the religion and to regular citizens of Dincaeli, for the beauty and clear meaning of the dances the goddess blesses her with.
Sadly for Thaltear this all changed one summer, no one but Thaltear herself knows exactly what happened however she managed to fail her goddess spectacularly enough to warrant an extreme and public punishment where Thama took her sight. Despite this Shaltear redoubled her efforts to regain her goddess affection, she took to wearing a cover over her eyes depicting Thama's symbol and now traveling alone to the furthest reaches of Dincaeli, taking out tasks for the smaller villages but taking no coin for her services, having all earnings given to the church. She continued this for years, steadily increasing in her abilities until there was no problem she was unable to solve for the out lying villages, even retaking land thought lost due to powerful dungeons that previously had not been cleared, adventurers high enough ranked to clear them would not go to these backwater regions.
Upon her annual return to Fremarck man years later, people were shocked to see her bow and kneel down in front of a local beggar, who later turned out to be Thama waiting for someone to recognise her, Thama then declared Thaltear's penance served and declared her to be Champion bestowing upon her not only her sight but far more, Thaltear still wears the band across her eyes but this does not impede her vision as Thama gave her the ability to see through any material or illusion.
