All characters in Eldara have a total of six attributes: Strength, Dexterity, Constitutiotn, Intellect, Acuity, and Willpower. The goal of attributes in the Eldara system is to make all attributes that a character owns to be useful to the character.  

When a Character is created all attributes are generated by rolling 3d6 six times. These numbers are then assigned to attributes of the player's choosing The player also gains 2 points to put into any combination of skills for the first level, and every level after.

Strength:

Strength is the representation of a character's capacity to exert himself physically upon the world. Those with greater strength scores can swing weapons harder, carry more items, climb and swim better, and intimidate others more.

Dexterity:

Dexterity is the representation of a character's capacity to physically maneuver and react to the world around himself. Characters with a high Dexterity score can more easily slip through bindings, fire ranged weapons, dodge attacks, and avoid other hazards.

Constitution:

Constitution is the character's capacity to resist physical change. This affects his ability to deflect damage that might otherwise hurt him, to withstand attacks that manage to hurt him, and improve his ability to resist many negative conditions, including poisons and diseases.

Intellect:

Intellect represents the character's mental capacity to exert itself. This is the mental equivalent of Strength in that the character is capable of grasping greater and larger ideas, but might not be the quickest or most intuitive person. Intellect governs a characters' mana capacity, skill points, and many skills.

Acuity:

Acuity represents a character's capacity for mental quickness and observation. Acuity is the mental representation of Dexterity, governing the character's initiative, ability to react to others, ability to multitask and ability to perceive the world around themselves.

Will:

Will represents a character's capacity for mental toughness and fortitude. Will is the mental representation of Constitution, governing the character's willpower, ability to resist charms and mental conditions.

Modifiers:
All attributes have modifiers associated with their scores. These modifiers are listed below, and apply to all checks, spells, abilities, attacks, and skills associated with the attribute in question.
