Necrom Hollows
Necromantic Omens
CW: Gore and bones described in this article
Village of Death
Humans and Light Elves who practiced necromancy and alchemy populated Necrom Hollows. Some citizens of Astnyr called this the home to the witches of death. Rumors circulated that Morana herself lived in these hollows, but there was not enough evidence for a full investigation. Especially with the necromancer activity within Seaport's borders.History
No one knew when Necrom Hollows first appeared, but it was after Morana's first attack within Magick Glades. Not even the gods knew of this, as they were still recovering from losing two of their number in such a short time. The hollows appeared near Seaport, and travel warnings was addressed to travelers and merchants. There really was not much information about the hollows, but one thing was for certain. Its appearance meant a bad omen in Astnyr's future.Government
Morana ruled Necrom Hollows with an unexpected gentleness for her followers. However, those that broke her laws would face punishment worse than death. She first cut them in half with their intestines and guts hanging out, heal them with her remaining nature magic, and then inflict them with the Decaying of Bones. Morana made sure these traitors had a slow, painful death, as both an example and her own enjoyment.Defenses
There were no necromancers that guarded the Hollows. In fact, a deadly, invisible green mist killed any who dared to penetrate the border. Only necromancers and the Lady of Death herself could see this mist and traverse through it. Those who accidentally walked into the mist would rot on the spot. Their bodies would first seize up in paralysis, making them fall to the grassy ground. Then blood would pour out of their mouths, eyes, ears, and nose. Any opening imagined would pour blood. Finally, their hair fell off of their heads and skin melted. The rest of them became their bones, never to live or be seen again.Points of Interest
Morana's home was in Necrom Hollows. She held an abode that held both life and death. The life was the surrounding nature, and death were the bodies of people she kidnapped and killed. Morana gained assistance from fecroxes in the vicinity, making pleasant companions when she was alone. Another spot was the popular bar, 'The Rotted Gut'. The owner and main bartender, Kyle Butcher, served drinks that any necromancer could drink. Morana's favorite servant, Isabella, partook there to gain information on traitors or helped with battle plans.
