Beastkin

Descendant of Beasts. With the opening of the void portals, parasitic life form emerged and used beasts as their habitat. As such, these beasts evolved and gained more power, intellect, and ability to get stronger. They turned into beastkins. With the passage of time and the birth of new generations, traces of the parasites disappeared, however, the physical appearances of the new species stayed the same.
Beastkins, much like Beasts, is an umbrella term that groups all species that were invaded by the parasites and evolved.

Anatomy

humanoid shape. As opposed to normal beasts, they have access to shadows. Most beastkins can utilise either shadows or their parent species' original system. This distinction decides their future evolution(s).
