Weapon of the Deity

You must be holding your deity’s favored weapon to cast this spell. You may use the weapon as if you had proficiency with it even if you normally do not. The weapon gains a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls an an additional special ability depending on your deity.   This spell automatically fails if the cleric casting it does not follow a deity, or if it is cast by a non-cleric. This spell ends if you stop holding the weapon. This spell gains the Good descriptor if you follow a Good-aligned deity, and the Evil descriptor if you follow an Evil-aligned deity.   At Higher Levels. The bonus to attack and damage rolls from this spell increases with higher spell levels. If cast at 6th level or higher, the weapon becomes a +2 weapon. If cast at 9th level, the weapon becomes a +3 weapon.
