Summon Swarm
5th Edition
You summon a writhing swarm of vermin that fills a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on a point you can see within range. Roll a d100 or choose a type of swarm from the following table:
The swarm attacks all creatures within its area. Creatures that spend their turn doing nothing or taking the Dodge action suffer 1 point of piercing damage at the end of their turn.
Creatures that take any other action while inside the swarm’s area—including attempting to move away take 1d4 piercing damage at the end of their turn.
While in the swarm, a creature casting a spell with somatic components must make a DC 5 flat check, being unable to start casting the spell on a failure (Wasting the action, but not the spell slot).
The swarm moves 5 feet closer to the nearest creature at the beginning of your turn.
If your concentration on this spell is broken, the swarm does not vanish immediately. Instead, it becomes hostile to all other creatures that aren't animals, but does not necessarily know you were controlling it.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a higher level spell slot, increase the damage taken by a creature that attempts an action by 1d4 for each slot level above its base level.
d100 | Swarm Type |

71-80 | Spiders (Swarm of Spiders) |
