Heavy Mace

The heavy mace is a formidable bludgeoning weapon built around a large, weighted head capable of delivering devastating impacts. Though slower than its lighter counterpart, each swing carries enough force to shatter bones and shields alike.

This is a rare option

This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.

Weapon Options

Brutal Strike
Once per round, when you take the Attack Action, you may replace one attack with a brutal strike with this weapon against a creature in range. When you do, make an Attack Roll at Disadvantage. On a hit, the weapon gains the Brutal (2) property. If the weapon already has the Brutal property, its Brutal value is increased by 1 for this attack.
Crushing Blow
As an Action when you would have Advantage on an Attack Roll, you can make a special attack with this weapon at Disadvantage instead. On a hit, the target must make a Constitution Saving Throw (DC 8 + your Proficiency Bonus + your Strength Modifier). On a failure, the target is Stunned until the end of your next turn. If you miss the target, you have Disadvantage on your next Attack Roll before the end of your next turn.
