Gelbert's Rebounding Prisms

Source: Elaris — Spells of Legend
You conjure a shimmering prism of force around yourself, turning the incoming assault back on the attacker. Roll a d6:
  • 1-2: The attack or spell has no effect on you or creatures within 5 feet of you. Other targets of the attack or spell are affected as normal.
  • 3-4: The attack or spell rebounds toward a random creature within 30 feet of you, using the same attack roll if applicable.
  • 5-6: The attack perfectly reflects back to the attacker or spellcaster so long as they are within 120 feet of you, using the same attack roll if applicable.
  • At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you may roll the d6 twice and choose the result.

    This is a rare option

This option requires special permission to take. In the case of spells, psionic powers, and similar options, this option must be found in the world and cannot be taken upon level-up.
