Gelbert's Endless Pebbles
You bind a conjuration spell to a target you can see within range. The target must make a Charisma saving throw, having this spell take effect on a failure. For the duration, pebbles begin appearing directly in the target’s shoes, under their armor, and inside their clothes. The target has disadvantage on all Dexterity (Acrobatics) and Strength (Athletics) checks, and they cannot take the Dash action. At the start of each of their turns, the target may use a bonus action to shake out their footwear and adjust their armor against the uncomfortable pebbles. If they do not, they take 1d4 bludgeoning damage. This bonus action provokes an Attack of Opportunity.
If you used a gemstone as the material component for this spell, the target instead takes 2d4 piercing damage if they do not take this bonus action to adjust their belongings.
At Higher Levels. When cast at 4th level or higher, any target that does not use a bonus action to adjust their belongings has disadvantage on Constitution saving throws to retain concentration on spells and similar effects.
