Darrak Wraithward

So much happened in the later years of Darrak's youth. Stoneshaft fell to the Blight; so he fled. Crost's barbarians, who took him in when he turned up at their gates having spent a week and a half on his own in the bitter north, turned on the world and went on the warpath; so he fled.

Finally finding refuge with the Ghostwind tribe, they taught him to harness not rage but the spirits of his ancestors; his parents were dead at the hands of the Blight, though with the corruption destroyed, their souls were freed and had retained an intense longing to protect their son. Hearing of the Guild's hand in the Blight's destruction, he decided to join their efforts in protecting Elanora from threats like the Blight.
