Daphne 'Skips' Skiphoof

Daphne Skiphoof is a half-satyr from the western Heartlands of Faerun. She joined the Little Warriors at the young age of 21, where she served with distinction alongside Breac Sunfist and Prius Tanner on several missions in Icewind Dale, before she retired to study under Storm Silverhand as a Harper. She was in Baldur's Gate during the Infinate Crisis there when her shield token broke due to the events of Guildfall.

She cut off contact with the guild on learning of the death of Breac Sunfist, but was forced by circumstance to make contact once again when the new Blackstaff, Khelben Thann, discovered Soil. Hoping to circumvent the need for wizards to harvest the precious resource from full-blooded fae, she devised an ambitious plan to allow Khelben to harvest her lifeforce, in the hope that as a half-mortal she could then be resurrected and the process repeated. Early experiments failed, and Khelben was forced to leave Skips in the care of a trusted apprentice. Unfortunately, this apprentice was much more zealous and cruel in his pursuit of knowledge once Khelben left, and Skips was forced to flee with the aid of her lover, who was killed in the escape.

Skips now resides on Kosinost, assisting Miko Tanner in investigating the Arcane Blades, an outpost of Khelben's Arcane Eye.
