Kord (a.k.a. The Booming Thunder, The Storm Lord)

Where thunder cracks and conflict rises, prayers to the Booming Thunder are shouted into the maelstrom. The Booming Thunder's followers revel in all tests of strength, and his blessing finds those who prove themselves on the battlefield. He is worshipped by athletes and warriors across Elamar, and his will exalts those whose force of spirit and pension for victory call his attention. He brings tumultuous storms over land and sea, and those who wish for clearer skies offer their praises and prayers in hopes of appeasing his will.
Within his temples and carvings, the Booming Thunder is shown as a paragon warrior, often nude and physically the epitome of muscle and strength. Often with beard and short, curled hair, most depictions have the Booming Thunder in mid-wrestle with a terrible beast, and always in a stance of dominance.

The Booming Thunder's holy day is The Day of Challenging, and is celebrated on the seventh day of Belatir. The Day of Challenging is one of the most raucous holidays, and thousands of spectators attend the annual Godsbrawl held in the Temple of the Booming Thunder to root for their favored deity’s champion, particularly the chosen of the Booming Thunder and The Platinum Dragon.
