Mistwater Lighttower

The Mistwater Lighttower is a legend in the area of Fennwas Reach and especially feared by seafarers in the Gamian Sea.
The Tower originally was constructed centuries ago, to guide around the cliffs near the coast. The region was well known for the strong fog and mists falling down quickly and the light of the tower needed to protect against this.
The local lord engaged a magician to enchant the light to pierce even the strongest mists and keep every sailor save. However, a dispute between the lord and the magician led to him capturing the lord's daughter and flee on the newly finished tower. Immediately, the tower was covered in the deepest fog. Once the fog lifted, the tower was gone.
Over the years however, sailors recount the tale of a tower shining through the deepes mists. Only due to sheer luck and skill where they able to avoid the dangerous cliffs the tower tried to lured them onto. They say, the magician wanders together with the tower and uses the mist to continuosly take revenge on the lord and their ancestors.
