Ekkirah

The floating islands of Ekkirah are a sight to behold. From levitating pebbles to giant archipelagos, the sky is filled with hovering landmasses as far as the eye can see. Some inhabited, others wild and feral. Underneath spans the giant sea where only the bravest adventurers dare to travel. Tales of ferocious monsters of the deep and sunken cities of lost civilizations are wide spread. Few have tried to explore it, even fewer returned, none still sane enough to describe what they had seen. A few hundred feet above the islands, brutal winds block the path to the unknown. Locked in between, on the islands, villages, towns and sometimes entire civilizations thrive, thanks to the airships. Ranging from small, lightweight vessels to hulking machines of war, they have quickly become one of the most important assets of the sentient races on this world.
