Public Agenda

The order is dedicated to the propagation of truth and hope. The headquarters in Geldereth represent the most accomplished center of astronomical study in the world, and the clerics at all temples attempt to gain insight into present and future events by studying the behavior of the stars. They place heavy focus on beauty as an expression of truth, and as such many temples are heavily dedicated to the arts. The most common public practice is sermons given with the intent to inspire, particularly in times of unrest and struggle, though members of the order also strive to make clean and safe living spaces for the citizens who live near their temples, making every attempt to rid the world they safeguard of all ugliness and evil.

History

The order unofficially began with Miranelle's three children: Adurien, Valedith, and Cadain. It was Valedith who found the mountain peak of Allor Cella where the headquarters of the order are now located. The order was rather scattered for most of the Era of Cloud, with a small settlement and temple atop Allor Cella but little more. In the early EC 4000s, however, the order became more united and a proper temple was built. This temple was unfortunately destroyed during the Great Shadow, the end of which signified a turning point in the history of the order. Construction for a new, far grander temple and observatory began in EL 2 and was completed in 147.
