Shadar-kai

The shadar-kai are a subrace of elf native to the Shadowfell. They are distinguishable from other elves by their pallid skin, entirely black eyes, and tendency towards being heavily tattooed and pierced. As a race, they are set apart by the innate curse that tethers their souls to the Shadowfell. Their habitation of the Shadowfell lends them towards incredible bleakness.
