Religion in Kiritchati

The tabaxi of Kiritchati have a variety of religious customs which mostly share similar characteristics. The god Kiritch is the overwhelming focus of their practices, followed by a small assortment of mythic tabaxi heroes, some of whom are purported to possibly have been Kiritch himself in disguise. A single temple to Brell exists in the territory of clan Storming Sky of the northwest corner of the island, as does one to Kishike in the same clan.
Most temples are operated only by a handful of priests, and indeed many clans do not have temples at all, having a very informal, loose definition of religion compared to many others. Often the clan elders are the closest these clans get to priests, leading prayers and telling religious legends sporadically.
