Ramari

"All to me, none to thee, fills Ramari up with glee!"
Ramari

Ramari, also known as Ramenos or He Who Sleeps, is the god of indulgence and gluttony. He was delighted by the world and its physical pleasures, and found that eating was his absolute favorite of them. He was a terror to the world, and it is said that he would devour entire forests and villages, swallowing them up in his great maw. For some time he held the land in a mixture of frenzy and cold terror, and on three occasions he was defeated by powerful warriors, but in his case, defeat only meant quick retreat and a long time taken to sleep off his wounds. At some point near the middle of the Age of the Meydra, he retired to an unknown location and began his final slumber. Ramari is portrayed as a massive humanoid frog with a cavernous mouth.

Relationships

Ramari was son of Madjei and Illethar. It has been suggested that he may have received significant magical capabilities from his father, but never cared to use them.

Followers

His followers, chiefly bullywugs and small sects among grungs but also some among the humanoids of Ekaia, revere him for what he represents: a life of ease and overindulgenceā€”although he is known to never directly intercede for his followers and seems to care only for himself.
