The Creation of Eisotir

In the past, there was a Jogr and his six children. There were no lands, no planets, no other existence. They alone roamed the plane known as Gyina, the plane of Primordial Chaos. After uncountable millennia, the Jogr and his titan children began to notice the Primordial Chaos collect and form into Primal Energy. The Jogr lay claim to the energy, stating that as he is the original being, he is the ruler of all in his sight. For millennia more to come, Jogr horded the energy, becoming obsessed with it. He spent all his time watching the energy, so that none of his children would be able to lay claim to it. Eventually, his eyes would degrade to the point of not being able to see at all. Jogr went to his first child, Jogrrson, and implored for him to help restore his eyes. Jogrrson agreed, and began experimenting with the Primal Energy, where he was able to create the energy of Light. With this light, he created the Eygthr Ljossdath, the Eyes of Light. He placed the eyes in his father's head. Jogr was dissatisfied, for before he could see nothing but now he sees only light. Jogrrson then went to his youngest sibling, his only sister, Jogidottir, and implored her for help. Using the process her brother did, she created the energy of Dark. Jogrrson made an eye with her Dark, the Eygthr Nattadath, and replaced one of Jogr's eyes with it. Jogr complained yet more, for now he can see his children, but his energy remains unseen. In anger, he commanded his second child, Eikr, to kill Jogrrson. Since Jogr was able to see his children, the request could not be denied, for he was the ruler of all he could see.

As Eikr slew his brother, the energy he had created rippled throughout the plane, granting blinding light to all within. However, Jogr, who had the Eygthr Nattadath, was able to see the shadows along with the light. Jogidottir, who had now been infused with the energy of Dark, could also see. As she was the only one who could, Jogr commanded she make him new eyes to see his energy. To complete this, she took inspiration from her late brother, and made eyes with her dark, his light, and the raw primal energy. With this, she made the Eygthr Hvatvetna, the Eyes of Everything. When she placed these eyes in her father's head, he shook with rage. Now, he could see everything, and he could see that his eldest son and youngest daughter had used his energy. So angry, he was, that he struck her down there. With her death, Darkness filled the plane, granting all of Jogr's children the ability to see once more, this time with both light and dark. And with this vison, they could see that their sister had been slain. Jogr took Eikr and cast him into his pool of Primal Energy, which he claimed to be an award for obediently killing his brother. The concentrated energy wrought Eikr's flesh into something else, and soon his whole body decayed away. With his death, the Primal Energy exploded, cast out equally to each, which was then infused into their bodies.

Jogr could not stand the idea of his children having his energy, so he sought to kill them all starting with his third son, Destr. Destr tried to fight back, but was commanded to accept death by Jogr. Bound by his father's command, he could only await his death. As his father yelled in rage, however, the fourth son Seath ripped out his tongue. No longer was Jogr able to give his commands, and Seath took the chance to try and slay his father. His father was too strong, however, and beat Seath back before finally killing Destr and taking his sons tongue to replace his own. While he attempted to place his son's tongue in his mouth, the fifth son Oeth killed Seath and took the energy inside of him. He used Seath's energy to affix his father's tongue to his own, and with it he spoke the words, "Be blind," to his father. Jogr, now blind by command of his own power, yelled in rage, commanding his son give his sight back. But as he could not see the son, he held no power over him. "Become sustenance," Oeth spoke to his father, who imploded immediately, forming a large orb upon which Oeth could walk. He looked at the corpses of Seath and Destr and spoke, "Live again." The two came back to life as they were before they had died. Oeth commanded Destr's tongue back.

Seath wished for Oeth to bring back Eikr, Jogrrson, and Jogidottir, but Oeth said he could not, for he can no longer see them. Morosely, the three continued to live on the orb, who Oeth had named Eisotir in honor of his fallen siblings, until they discovered a pool of Primal Energy. As all the energy had been absorbed and distributed by Eikr, they three thought this could only be the remainder of him. Oeth said to it, "have form," and the pool became a grotesque body. Reacting to fear, Seath went to strike the form, but Oeth commanded he cease. Oeth then spoke to the form, "have life", and the form took its first shuddering breath. It rose and then spoke, introducing itself as Eikrson, and explained it had all the memories of it's father Eikr, and all the memories after. It spoke of the power to create life, and to create magnificent forms of energy, but it feared retaliation from the commanding Voice of his father's tongue. Oeth said to Eikrson, "Be free from my tongue", and with that Eikrson began creating as he pleased. Using the energy inside himself, he made water, fire, air, and dirt; he created plants with the light, water, and dirt; he made a sun out of the light and a moon out of the dark; he created forms of animals and breathed life into them; and at long last, he created the bodies Jogrrson and Jogidottir. He asked Oeth to wish them back to life, and Oeth spoke his words. Jogrrson and Jogidottir rose from their created bodies. Eikrson gathered all and explained that all that he has done has consumed his energy, and he will soon die again. Oeth said he would simply wish him back alive, but Eikrson explained that there is a limit to the Commanding Voice. It also consumes the Primal energy inside of him, and will eventually lead to Oeth's death. Eikrson said he would instead use the rest of his energy to create a cycle of life, this way there will always be energy in Eisotir, and no one person can horde it. Energy will slowly drain out of all living things and back into new things. The siblings all agreed, not wanting to go on an eternity alone.

With his final energy Eikrson created the cycle of life and perished. His body would form into a great and sprawling forest and plains, as the creator of mortal life. Shortly after, Oeth gave the energies that Eikrson created to his siblings, giving them each a domain with which they could exist together with, and be remembered forever by. Seath was given water, and was deemed the Titan of Water. Jogrrson was given his original Light and was deemed the Titan of Light. Jogidottir was given her original Dark, and was deemed the TItan of Knowledge. Together, they were the Sibling Titans of Knowledge. Destr was given fire, and was deemed the Titan of Flame. Oeth claimed no energy for himself, as he felt his voice was too powerful to have a domain as well. With Eikrson's example, the Siblings of Knowledge create two bodies and Oeth gave them life, naming them Aie, the Titan of Air; and Giar, the Titan of Earth. Oeth then spoke his final words, giving permission for all life to create new life, to live as they had energy and to die as they ran out, and that all titans remain forever in control of their designated domain. With that, Oeth became silent, speaking no more words, earning him the unofficial name of the Titanking of Silence by his siblings.

Soon, each titan besides Oeth would hold their own families, with each child having its own subdomain, and soon the original titans would die. Seath died first, creating sprawling oceans and lakes, and making rain. Jogrrson died next, breathing life of movement into the sun so that it would orbit the planet. Aie died after him, creating clouds and moving wind to assist the domains of her other titans. Giar followed, creating huge mountain ranges that split the earth. Jogidottir came after him, breathing life of movement into the moon so that it too would orbit the planet. Soon, it was just Destr and Oeth. Destr came to visit Oeth often, and now that none of his siblings lived, spoke constantly to Oeth. He shared the stories and tales of his siblings to Oeth, until his throat ran dry and his voice began to fail. He kept speaking, not eating or drinking, until soon he was little more than a cracked shell. Oeth tried to get him to eat and drink, to stop talking, but he couldn't speak, lest he strip the freedom he gave to all life on accident. Eventually, with barely a whisper to his raspy voice, Destr explained to Oeth that he no longer wanted to live, that he hated being alone. He felt selfish leaving Oeth alone, but he, as a creature originally immortal, couldn't stand being alone, waiting for his death. He wept tearlessly, explaining his fear of dying alone. Oeth held his brother with a smile, as he opened his mouth. Oeth was about to command his brother to die peacefully, but Destr had already passed, waiting only for the moment where he could die happy. As Destr died, his body created an ocean of sand, hot and barren. Oeth wept silent tears as he shared his brother's fears. It is from these tears, that the ideals and natural laws of Oeth were spread through the land, without him having to say anything.
