Cressard Isle

Guardian of the Deadmouth

Cressard Isle sits guarding the Deadmouth on the south of Deadmouth Island. The two channels around the island are the only available safe passages to the landing points in the Deadmouth, though the island itself is inhospitable to larger vessels landing. The island houses abundant animal life for most of the year. Those populations drop when the rarely seen predator that lives on the island emerges from hibernation to feed its voracious hunger, but the population increases throughout the hibernation period back to levels where the beast can feed again when it awakes. Cressard Isle is rich in plant life on the interior. Most of the island is surrounded by the high, soft chalk cliffs that are a feature of the area. Near impossible to scale due to the soft, crumbling chalk, the interior of the island is difficult to reach.
