Personal history

Siegfried’s story thusfar…       Every Story has an beginning. This story begins far north in the frigid cold. In the thick pine forests there was an small, but fierce tribe. This tribe is where Sieg’s story begins and it’s forested area’s shall be the place where he spends most of his youth.   His parents and sister were not really outstanding. They were rather simple craftsmen within the tribe. Growing up, this was also what the young boy would aim to become. A craftsman just like the rest of his family. But sadly the story of the young boy will take a turn for the worst… the very worst.   The longest Night   When Siegfried was about the age of 11, the worst of fates would fall upon his tribe. In the longest winter night, during the Yule festival, whilst all tribe members were celebrating the passage of another year it happened. The most vile creatures that the underground could bring forth attacked   Goblins….   Unprepared for an attack, the tribe fell into an chaos. The stench of the burning huts and death soon filled the air. The only thing Sieg could do was hide and cover his head to bar out all the sounds. But nothing prevented him to see the scarring image of his older sister being dragged off by the little green devils.   The wanderer After that night, the boy ran as far as he could. His tribe life had taught him valuable lessons about survival that now were put to the test as he wandered around endlessly for years. He never stood longer then a week in the same place. The villages that he passed began to imply call him ‘the wanderer’.   He never seemed to be able to shake the feeling of seething anger towards goblins. Especially when he passed a village or a farmstead that suffered the same fate as his tribe. He wanted to simply wipe them of the face of the earth, eventough that was never the way his tribe followed. The way of the two wolves.   The training of an falcon   At age 16 he found himself at the doorstep of the steel falcons. For years he would train here, something which would actually help him in more then a few ways. He had always been a loner type, especially since his time wandering. But during training he was taught to work together.   Of course he was most eager to learn about dungeoneering and monster slaying, as this would help him achieve his goal. During combat training he was always fierce and determined, so much so that many people didn’t like to spar with him. He never really took the time to rest properly. Most of his free time he spend in the library, learning about his enemies and how to effectively kill them. Rumors… Age 27. During a sparring session he would be sitting at the side line. Normally he’d be fuming about this fact, but this time he was lucky. The newest rumor was that the falcons were recruiting men to sail to some unknown lands. Many monsters… That were the words that were used most.   That’s it. That’s where he’d go. A new continent… most likely even more goblins to destroy. They had send some people already, but reinforcements would be send as soon as the men had landed.   That day seemed long ago now that he sat on the ship. He never liked sailing and much preferred the solid ground. Finally they were there, the new continent loomed on the horizon.
