Ashkelon
A large, square city sitting atop a slight rise in a craigy, rocky plain below a black sky. Like all of the shadowfell, it is largely gray, black, and white. The city appears imposing from afar, its walls rise high above the surrounding plain, towering at least 40 feet in height, with large battlements overlooking the entrance. The main gates, one on each side of the city, extend nearly the entire height of the wall, two continues slabs of smooth black rock. Even from a distance, one can see the massive Guardian of Ashkelon standing guard at each gate.
However, upon closer inspections, it is clear the City of the Dishonored is in disrepair. Some of the battlements are half collapsed; the wall, while still impressive, has been repaired in numerous places by sloppy mortar patches; the south gate, when open, is held in place by a tenuous collection of ropes and branches. One may only enter and exit each gate once, so travel through the city is limited.
