#49 Re-United With Kyrecia
General Summary
After allowing the demons to get a safe distance away, the Adventurers decide to ascend the cliff wall to the plateau above at the point where the rockslide occurred. After they reach the top, they find Kyrecia Aeliro, who had caused the rockslide to help them escape. Kyrecia leads them a short distance away to a simple camp where she has been staying for the last several weeks.
Kyrecia relays to them that Vorteus is being kept in Leroth-Morn, the island at the center of the great chasm next to the road they have been on. She has found only three passages across it, the one here at Zolag Fotress, the main entrance to the north, and a bridge of floating stones about 20 miles to the east which she believed was guarded by a Balhannoth.
After some discussion, the party decided to investigate the bridge of floating stones. After journeying there, they kidnap a small demon (a Mane) and force it into the Balhanoth's suspected lair. As it wanders through, it is suddenly consumed by a giant invisible maw. Tia Tsukiko reveals the maw to indeed be a Balhannoth.
A fight ensues, and Draktus Glayde imprisons the Balhannoth in a bead of force and kicks it over the edge of the cliff. As it falls down the cliff, the bridge of floating stones disappear with it.
