The Call

During the middle years of the 3rd Epoch the Kevald Mesa was under the assault of theHuer Empire. The Huer were pressing the defenses of the Caledon Heights. The Dwarves had unified to hold the Cliff but things were beginning to get desperate. The call went out to the far reaches of the Kevald Mesa for something new to turn back the advance. Each Clan was to bring something to the council of war. Word reached Dusaro Coppercaste an inventor on the eastern cliffs of the Mesa, A wild area cursed with the overflow from the Chaos Maw. He had developed a way to harness the residual energies spun off from the Maw, and use it to some extent.

Essence of Creation

He hitched his rickety cart to his homemade golem and began the long trek to the council of war. In the display of weaponry, he declared "the Essence of Creation!" and proceeded to destroy all the mannequins and injured many of the other exhibitors in a poorly controlled display of magic. Luckily Coppercaste was shielded by his golem powered by the same energy. Despite the disastrous display, the council saw the potential in Coopercaste's new discovery. Clan Emerald Tortoise was awarded the contract for new weaponry and energy.

Primordial Arcana

The Clan studied the new energy and technology and renamed it Primordial Arcana. Within a few short weeks, they had prototype weapons and golems ready for the war but were out of time. The Huer had breached the Caledon Heights via Fline's pass and were pushing into the Mesa. In the ensuing Battle known as Fline's Feint Primordial Arcana was deployed on an unsuspecting Huer to great success and routing the Huer Crusade for the first time.
Since that point, it has been a key element in the United Dwarven Clan's battle against the Crusade and integrated into the majority of their technology.

Sources

One of the unique aspects of Primordial Arcana is there are traces of it all across the Eglorix. However, it is predominantly found around the Chaos Maw where it can be siphoned from the surrounding area. Stored in PA batteries it is used to power Clan Emerald Tortoise's technology.  
PA is a well-guarded secret of the Clan and is seldom allowed outside of the Mesa.
