The High Holy Speech

The ancient language of the Brisingelion and the Shining Ones, brought to Edras from the great beyond many thousands of years ago. In modern Edras, the High Holy Speech is used as a sacred language for priests and priestesses of the Brisingelion, but is only spoken fluently by the deities, scions, and their divine servants. Most Culled Soulborn know at least a few simple prayers and phrases that they learned growing up.

A Prayer After Childbirth

"O Arhah, which hast delivered this woman thy servaunte from the great paine and peril of childe birthe: Graunt we beseche the most mercifull one, that she through thy help may bothe faithfully live, and walke in her vocation, accordyng to thy wil, in this lyfe present, and also may be partaker of everlastyng glory in the lyfe to come."
"Oh Arhah, who has delivered this woman, your servant, from the great pain and danger of childbirth; grant, we pray, most merciful one, that she, through your help, may both faithfully live and walk in her vocation, according to your will, in her life; and also may take part in the everlasting glory of the life to come ."
