The Dragonblood Amulets
Lore Overview
The Dragonblood Amulets are a set of fifteen amulets forged from the blood of the draconic gods Bahamut, Tiamat, and Varahosst. Each of the amulets bears the colour of a different type of dragon depending on the god whose blood was used to forge the amulet. The amulets themselves may be attuned to by any individual, but they are much more potent when used by a dragonborn. The abilities of the amulets vary slightly, though they follow the same general template of features. Each amulet allows the bearer to exhale a breath weapon, gives its bearer an increased resistance to the element used by the dragon whose colour the amulet shares, it heightens the instincts, intellect, or allure of its bearer, causes the bearer to grow wings, and dragonborn bearers grow a tail as well as have the ability to quickly recharge their breath weapons.Significance
These magical amulets are sought after by many dragonborn adventurers as they were forged from the blood of the gods Bahamut, Tiamat, and Varahosst and are enchanted to increase the inborn powers of a dragonborn exponentially. Additionally, they hold a great deal of religious significance to the worshippers of the draconic gods.
